Oily skin!

So I heard a while again that even if you've got oily, acne prone skin you should still moisturise...So I did. However my foundation was just sliding off so to solve thus problem a brought a primer but my foundation still wouldn't stay! So about a week ago I heard that you shouldn't add any extra moisture to you skin if it's oily. I gave this a go, leaving off my primer and moisturiser and when I got home from school I found that my foundation had stayed on all day I was I dramatically less oily! So if you've got extremely oily, acne prone skin like me, skip the moisturiser and other products like that! And remember that you shouldn't always listen to the experts as everyones skins different!

Garnier bb cream!

Theres been a lot of hype about BB cream lately and a few months ago the first one was sold in the uk. Id heard about BB cream before and so as soon as it was brought over here i was down at boots buying the Garnier one which was the first in this country. And for those who dont know BB stands for blemish balm. The best way ive heard to describe it is basically a tinted mostureiser on steroids. So what do i actually think? Its a really great product which actually does what it says. However in 14 years old and have a bit of an acne problem so i find that it dosent have enough covrage or me. So if you have normal or dry skin i would actually really recomend it. And if you want try it but dont want to buy a full tube, boots are giveing away free samples! Just click on the following link... http://www.boots-samples.com/garnier/b-b-cream/

Nail Varnish!

So ive tried out a lot of nail varnishes over the past few years. If i see a colour i like i buy it no matter what the brand is and because of this i have a hell of a lot of different brands of nail varnish. These vary from cheap own brands to Nail Ink! So the best nail varnish i have ever tried has got to Rimmel London "I heart lasting finish" nail varnish! So whys it so good? Well it dries quickley, its really shiney and it stays chip free for quite a while! Another nail vanish i like is Nail Ink but thats £10 compared to Rimmels £2.99! So thats my favorate nail varnsh but everyone wants different things so mabie it wont be yours but who knows?

DIY Makeup!

So im going to do a section on makeing your own makeup! Not only is it cheap but you can contol the quality and colour. What you mainly need to make your own makeup is a coloured pigment. This can be blusher or eyeshadow depending on what colour you want. If you want to use blue you oviously cant use blusher as they just dont make it in that colour. I also recomend useing a loose pigment as its easyer but if you dont have any just scrape a little off the top of your pressed pigment. Also you dont really need good quality pigment as its just to add colour altough you may want any other ingrediants to be better quality. I get my pigment from Primark, Poundland and Mua as they are all really cheap. So just keep reading for some really great recipies!

Collection 2000 Lock n Hold Lipgloss!

I was looking for a new lipgloss and i saw this one. It was a resonable price at £2.99 and it claimed to say on for 6 hours! And ive got to say the colours are georgeous, perfect for summer and for school although they look super strong in the bottle. It also smells supper great. Sort of like bubble gum? You dont get 6 hours out of one application but it does stay on for longer then most others ive tried and it still looks good when wareing off. However it is a little sticky but i would still recomend it!

17 Falsifye mascara!

Ive had this mascara for a litttle while and ive got to say it is quite good! And you can get a false lash look if you put on a lot. To do this a recomend curling your lashes fist a few time before applying it. Also you will need a lot to get a full on false lash look. If a false lash look is not for you, you can get a more everyday look by only applying a little. However i only have one criticism, you need to use a lot no matter what look your going for as it dosent stick to your lashes that well. And its a good price at only £6.49! So i can say i would recomend!

Garnier 2 in 1 roll on spot stick!

Ive decided to start doing some product reveiws and my first in the Garnier spot stick. Its got a ball roller for easy application and it also contains concealer to cover the spots. Ive been useing it for a few months and i dont really think its that great. It works on spots that are only just comeing up but not on spots that have properly developed. The ball rollers not great as after ive rolled it on my spots i then have to pat it on as it applys it to heverly and not blended at all. The concealer it it is too orange for my skin tone even though i have the palest colour as i have light skin. Its also quite expensive. Honesly i dont recommend!

Super Facial!

I went to a spa last week for my birthday and i had a facial there which was amazing! And i got me thinking...How can you do a facial at home on a budget? So thats when i came up with this...

1.Wash your face with warm water to open your pours.
2.Use a gentel exfoliating scrub and wash off.
3.Rub a cleanser into your skin then wipe of with a cotten wool pad.
4.Apply a face mask and wait for 10 minuites then wash off.
5.Thourghly dry your skin then pat a toner over your skin and leave to dry.
6.Apply a mousturiser.

So there you go, a spa style facial which dosent cost spa prices!

Removeing hair dye from skin!

Well i dont dye my hair but from my friends that do ive heard this can be quite a problem. I havent tried any of these, thier just what my friends have said. The first way ive heard is to use a cleanser on it just like you normally would. Im not sure if it would work for all dyes but i guess its worth a try. The other is to use nail varnish remover although it can sting a little and you need to be super careful not to get it in your eyes! Its better to provent the problem in the first place though. You can do this by putting vaseline around your hair line!

Skin care tip!

Ok so i write a lot about skin care but i really want to have great skin and i know most people do as well! So i heared this tip a while ago and ive tried it out and i an honestly say that it works! So what do i use then?...Oats! Yes honestly i use breakfast oats and it really works! So how do you use them? Take a handfull of plain oats and close your fingers around them and hold your hand under running water for a few seconds so they get wet. Turn the water off and open your hand. Take a little off your hand and rub it onto your face. (I find it easyest to start with the cheeks, then chin then the forehead.) Keep on takeing a bit from your hand and rubbing it in untill you have none left in your hand. Then just massage it in for a minuite or so. Also be warned that it is quite messy so its best to do it over the sink!
